Registration & Policies

Here you will find a summary of how to register for a trip and our cancellation policies.

If you have any questions about our policies, or would like further information about any of our trips or destinations, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@packraftadventurecanada.ca or use the form available here.

How to Register:

You can register for a trip by clicking the Book Now button at the bottom of each individual trip page. You are required to pay a reservations deposit of 50% of your total trip fee. Available space on each trip varies based on the destination and how many people have already signed up. Many of our trips are capped at 7 participants, but some can accommodate more. If you would like to travel with a larger group please contact our office directly for information or to discuss creating a custom trip for your group.

Upon submitting your initial registration with the deposit fee to Packraft Adventure Canada, you will receive an information package by email within 48 hours. This package will include:

  • Important dates to remember to mark in your calendar

  • Locations of the trip, i.e. where to meet at the beginning of your adventure

  • Links to the P.A.C. medical history and dietary needs form

  • Packing lists for your personal gear

  • Other important destination specific information

  • How and when to pay the remainder of your fee

The balance of payment for your trip will be due 60 days before your trip departure date. If you are signing up less than 60 days before departure, the balance of payment will be due immediately and you will receive an invoice along with your trip information package.

Cancellation Policy:

Covid-19: If Packraft Adventure Canada cancels a trip for reasons related to Covid-19 due to changes made by Government of Canada health agencies or provincial/municipal health authorities, you will have the option to defer your trip fee for a future adventure or receive a full refund.

If you are personally unable to participate in a trip due to circumstances related to Covid-19 you can transfer the full value of your trip to a future excursion within the next 24 months, or receive a full refund minus a $35 administrative fee. If you think you have contracted Covid-19 or have been in contact with someone who has contracted Covid-19 near to your departure date, please contact us directly to discuss the circumstances surrounding your participation and trip fee.

General Cancellations: You can cancel your reservation for a full refund minus a $35 dollar administrative fee up to 60 days before your date of departure. Cancellations occurring less than 60 days but more than 30 days before your departure will forfeit the reservation deposit. Any cancellation received within 30 days of your departure date will not receive a refund.

Refunds will not be issued for trips affected by circumstances beyond our control such as extreme weather events, dangerous or unsuitable water levels, wildfires, flooding etc. Every effort will be made to accommodate guests and provide a suitable alternative in case of such events.

Low Enrollment: Packraft Adventure Canada reserves the right to cancel a trip anytime up until the day of departure due to low enrollment. In the event of a cancellation due to low enrollment you will be offered the opportunity to participate in another trip during the same season if there is space (any difference in cost will be refunded or billed). If other trip options don’t work for you, you will be entitled to a full refund of your trip fee. Packraft Adventure Canada will do everything possible to let guests know well in advance if a trip is likely to be cancelled.

Waiver of Liability:

All participants are required to sign a Waiver of Liability before participating in any Packraft Adventure Canada programming. If a waiver is not completed prior to a trip the participant will be ineligible to participate.

At this time Packraft Adventure Canada is also requiring guests to sign a ‘Covid-19 Specific’ release form.

Evacuation Policy:

Our first priority at Packraft Adventure Canada is to keep you safe and healthy on trip. In the unlikely event of an emergency evacuation from trip, the guest who is evacuated will be responsible for all costs associated with the evacuation. Packraft Adventure Canada will not be responsible for covering any costs associated with emergency evacuation procedures.
